The Baskets Are Calling!

It’s estimated that today there are more than 500,000 players and more than 1,600 courses across the country. Several of those can be found in the Metro East! Whether you're a beginner or a pro, you'll find just the right course.

Disc golf is a popular sport that in many ways resembles traditional golf, except the game is played with flying disks instead of clubs and a ball, the “holes” are metal baskets, and unlike golf, it is typically enjoyed in public parks (for free!). If you visit a Metro East park on a warm, sunny day with a disc golf course, chances are you’ll see at least a few people engaged in a friendly (or competitive) game. And it should come as no surprise why... disc golf is not only easy to learn but also a great way to get active, have fun, and enjoy the great outdoors!
